Unlike much of what I do, this blog has no single purpose, no focused raison d'etre.

The creation of this space is prompted by a need to vent, to express my world view in light of the days' events.

A disclaimer: these are my thoughts, usually based on things I have seen, read, or otherwise experienced. Usually. These are not the thoughts of others (although due credit will be given where due). I am married, have a son, and work for an employer. Nothing I say is meant to be put on these people in any way. If readers like what I have to say, I get the credit. If they don't, well, ditto.
